Terms of Service

The Dino Detective Agency gives you three AI tools for code and writing. You sign in through Tendril Terminal. An active subscription at Tendril Terminal includes full use of every tool at no extra charge; without one, you can try every tool on a limited free trial. What you put in stays yours; we do not store it or train on it. AI output can be wrong, so check it. Use the tools lawfully and do not abuse the trial. We provide the Service as it is, and our liability to you is limited. Wyoming law applies, without taking away consumer protections you have where you live.

The rest of this page is the agreement in full. Please read it; it is short.

1. The Agreement

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a contract between you and Aurelia Intelligence Corporation, trading as Aurelia Intelligence Co., a Wyoming corporation ("we", "us"), covering your use of the Dino Detective Agency website and tools (the "Service"). By using the Service, including by signing in, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data.

If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and "you" means that company as well.

You must be at least 13 years old (16 if you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom) to use the Service.

2. The Service

The Service currently consists of three tools:

• Diffasaurus compares two versions of a file and returns an AI-written account of what changed.
• Analysaurus takes a file, a batch of files or a folder and returns an AI analysis of the code.
• Notosaurus turns notes into a complete draft, then rewrites it in your own voice and shows the difference.

Each tool sends the material you provide to our AI provider, currently Anthropic or OpenAI, and returns the result to you. We may add, change or improve tools and features over time. Every feature of the Service is available to everyone, subscribed or not; a subscription changes how much you can use the tools, not which tools you can use. Nothing inside the Service is a paid upgrade.

3. Accounts and the DinoPass

Signing in is handled by Tendril Terminal, a separate service also run by Aurelia Intelligence Corporation, under its own terms. Signing in requires a Tendril Terminal account. We call a signed-in session a "DinoPass". An active subscription at Tendril Terminal includes full use of every tool at no extra charge: requests run on our own AI provider keys, and we pay the provider. Without an active subscription, whether you never had one or cancelled it, you can still sign in and you have the free trial described in section 4. We check whether your subscription is active each time you sign in, so a change at Tendril Terminal applies from your next sign-in. We may apply reasonable limits to keep the Service available to everyone.

You are responsible for keeping your Tendril Terminal credentials secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us at once if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

We take no payment inside the Service. Any fee for access is charged by Tendril Terminal under its terms, and questions about payment, refunds or cancellation go there.

4. The Free Trial

Without an active subscription, signed in or not, you may try the tools for a limited number of spins (a spin is one answer from a dino, such as a comparison, an explanation, a summary, an analysis, a draft or a rewrite), counted against your internet address and using a key that belongs to us. People who share an internet address, such as an office or a household, share one trial. The number of free spins is limited and may change, and the Service tells you when you have used them up. Then you can subscribe at Tendril Terminal for full access.

The trial is a courtesy, offered so you can see whether the tools are useful to you. We may change its size, pause it or end it at any time without notice, and we may reset or refuse it where we see abuse (for example, many requests from many addresses, automated use, or use that runs up our costs without a person behind it). Requests made under the trial go to the provider under our account and are subject to the provider's terms and usage policies.

5. Tips

Where a tip link is offered, you may leave a voluntary tip through Ko-fi, a third-party service. Tips are gifts. They are not a fee for the Service, do not buy any feature or priority, are processed entirely by the third-party service under its terms, and are not refundable by us.

6. Your Content

"Content" means anything you put into the tools: code, files, notes, drafts, voice instructions and the AI output returned to you.

• You own it. We claim no rights in your Content. You give us only the permission needed to operate the Service: to transmit your Content to our AI provider and return the result to you.
• We do not store it. Your Content passes through our servers and is not written to our database or logs. Files you save, download or export go to your own device.
• We do not train on it. We do not use your Content to train or improve any AI model. Under their published API terms, OpenAI and Anthropic do not use API inputs or outputs to train their models either; their policies govern what they do with the data they receive.
• You are responsible for it. You confirm that you have the right to submit your Content, including any personal data about other people it contains, and that submitting it to an AI provider does not break a law, a contract or a duty of confidence you owe someone else. Do not submit secrets, credentials, or data you are not allowed to send to a third party.

7. AI Output

The tools use large language models. Their output can be incomplete, out of date, biased or simply wrong, and can look confident while being so. Output is a starting point, not advice. Review it before you rely on it, especially before running code, sending a message or making a decision. We are not responsible for what you do with output, and the tools are not a substitute for a qualified professional where one is needed.

Output may be similar to output the same model gives other people, and we make no claim about its originality or your ability to protect it under intellectual property law.

8. Acceptable Use

Do not use the Service to:

• break any law, or help anyone else do so;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
• create or spread malware, or find or exploit vulnerabilities in systems you are not authorised to test;
• harass, threaten, defame or harm anyone, or generate content that sexualises minors;
• get around the free-trial limit, rate limits or any access control, or use automated scripts, scrapers or bots against the Service without our written permission;
• probe, scan or overload the Service, or interfere with anyone else's use of it;
• reverse engineer, copy or resell the Service or present it as your own;
• do anything the AI providers' usage policies prohibit when your requests go to them.

We may suspend or end access to anyone who breaks these rules.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service depends on services we do not control: Tendril Terminal for sign-in, OpenAI and Anthropic for AI processing, Heroku for hosting, and the content delivery networks and font services your browser loads. Their availability, changes and terms are theirs. We are not responsible for their acts or omissions, and links from the Service to other sites do not mean we endorse them.

10. Our Intellectual Property and Your Feedback

The Service, including its code, design, the dinosaur characters and artwork, names and logos, belongs to Aurelia Intelligence Corporation or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. These Terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service as intended, and nothing more.

If you send us ideas or feedback about the Service, you agree we may use them without any obligation to you. We will not claim your feedback is anything other than feedback.

11. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the Service running well, but it is provided without a guaranteed uptime. We may change, suspend or discontinue the Service or any part of it, at any time, for any reason. Where we can, we will give reasonable notice of changes that remove a feature you rely on.

12. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service or its output will be accurate, reliable, error-free, secure or uninterrupted.

Some laws do not allow these exclusions. Where that is so, they apply only as far as the law permits, and nothing in these Terms limits any statutory guarantee or consumer right that cannot be excluded.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

• we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, or from any output, however caused; and
• our total liability to you for all claims arising from the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid us for the Service in that period.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by the law that applies to you. If you are a consumer in the EEA, UK or Australia, the statutory rights and remedies of your country apply and these limits apply only to the extent that law allows.

14. Your Responsibility to Us

If someone brings a claim against us because of your Content, or because you used the Service in breach of these Terms or the law, you agree to cover the reasonable costs, losses and legal fees we incur as a result. This does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own fault.

15. Ending the Agreement

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by email. We can suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections 6, 7, 10 and 12 to 17 survive the end of the agreement.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in the State of Wyoming, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer outside the United States, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country. In particular, if you live in the EEA or the UK, nothing here takes away the rights your national law gives you or your right to go to your local courts.

Before either of us starts a legal claim, we agree to try to resolve the matter by writing to each other and giving thirty days for a reply.

17. General

• Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and if a change materially reduces your rights we will email account holders before it takes effect. Using the Service after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.
• Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
• Severability. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
• No waiver. If we do not enforce something, we are not giving up the right to do so later.
• Assignment. You may not transfer this agreement. We may transfer it as part of a merger, sale or reorganisation, and will tell you if we do.
• Export and sanctions. You may not use the Service where doing so is prohibited by US export or sanctions law.
• Language. These Terms are written in English. Any translation is for convenience, and the English version controls.
